Best Waterfalls in Eastern Bali
Tukad Cepung Waterfall
Located in Jalan Tembuku Bali, Tukad Cepung waterfall is one of the most popular waterfalls in Bali. It’s special because it cascades over the edge into a cave. And that cave can only be reached via a short walk through a deep canyon.
Whilst the water isn’t deep enough for swimming, you can stand ankle-deep in front of the falls.
The perfect spot for some photos. As well as on the boulder, just back from the falls
There is a 15k IDR entrance fee and a brief 15-minute hike down to the waterfall itself, through the canyon.
The best time to visit is early in the morning. A beautiful rainbow effect is created by sun rays through the opening on the cave roof.
Kanto Lampo Waterfall
Found in the Beng village in Gianyar is Kanto Lampo Waterfall. It’s a fairly “new” waterfall and because of this isn’t as crowded as some of the other waterfalls in the region. Therefore, making it one of the best waterfalls to visit in my opinion.
The entrance fee is just 10k IDR per person and the hike down to the waterfall is very pleasant with lush green jungles around you and colourful butterflies flying everywhere.
Kanto Lampo Waterfall is famous for its incredible view of water cascading down a stepped rock formation. Here the water is deep enough for you to have a dip, plus, the pressure from the waterfall is not strong, so you can get right under it for a natural shower.
Best Waterfalls in Central Bali
Nungnung Waterfall
Nungnung waterfall is a relatively less known waterfall in the region. Therefore making it the perfect location for those who are looking for a quiet and crowd-free waterfall experience.
It is a bit more challenging to reach compared to other waterfalls. But that is exactly what makes it special!
There are roughly 500 steps down and therefore back up, so be prepared. However, if you are a nature lover, you won’t mind the hike down. It is surrounded by lush jungle creating scenic views. Plus plenty of places to stop on the way back up.
The entrance fee at Nungnung Waterfall is just 10k IDR for locals and 20k IDR for foreigners.

Best Waterfalls in Northern Bali
Git Git Waterfall
Located in the north of Bali, Git Git waterfall is around a 2 hours drive away from Ubud.
Northern Bali is considerably less crowded, so expect the waterfalls to be less crowded also.
The entrance fee is 20k IDR and will take around 10 minutes to get to the waterfall.
One of the coolest things about the Git Git waterfall is that it is high in the mountains. This makes it an ideal location for all the photography enthusiasts out there.

Aling Aling Waterfall
Situated just a 2-hour drive from Ubud, Aling Aling waterfall is one of the most fun waterfalls in Bali.
With a ton of different activities including swimming, jumping, and sliding, everyone who visits this waterfall falls in love.
The entrance fee at the Aling Aling waterfall can differ depending on what you want to do. It can range from 10k IDR up to 500k IDR. The most expensive ticket gives you access to all the waterfalls in the area. As well as swimming, jumping, and visiting the rice terraces.

Located in the beautiful Singaraja region, the Sekumpul Waterfall is another famous waterfall in the north. if not the most famous!
The water here is very clear and very cold. So to cool off from the Bali heat, just take a dip at Sekumpul for a few minutes.
Sekumpul has different ticket options. The cheapest ticket allows for photography and flying a drone over the waterfalls.
Whereas the most expensive ticket gives access to 3 waterfalls, which can take 3 to 4 hours to see and enjoy.

Situated in East Bali, this recently discovered gem is just a short distance from the famous Tukad Cepung waterfall.
Although quite easy to reach, this waterfall is never too crowded as not many people know about it. It is located inside a cave and has a few small natural pools where you can swim.
There is a small 15 minutes hike to get to the waterfall.
Besides the waterfall itself, the other best thing about this waterfall is that there is no entrance fee. However, you can expect that to change as the location becomes more and more popular.
